Another eBay problem
1 Attachment(s)
I've been informed by a buyer that they are getting this message when trying to purchase multiple items:
"Checkout error. The seller only allows buyer to purchase 1 item every 10 days." I found the setting and changed it (I can't imagine why they would select this option for me in the first place) but the buyer says they're still getting the message. Anyone else encountered this problem and know how to fix it? (I attached the screenshot they sent me.) Thanks Matthew |
Where did you find this setting? Somewhere on the seller hub, I imagine.
Some of us would (almost certainly) like to check our accounts. Where do we look to find this? |

I think this is the setting...

Yes, that's it.

Scratching my head why that would even be an option.

This recently happened to me as a buyer. I had bought several times from the same seller, then one day the 10-day limit error message popped up.
Seller had no idea of the setting and said he has no recollection of even being told about it. He tried to “reset” it for a few days, to no avail. We just had to wait the 10 days to do the next deal. Weird. Hasn’t happened since. |

This may or may not be something they could fix, if they know it's something that's even an issue. I can't even imagine the patchwork nightmare that the site/seller/buyer/security/etc management actually is behind the buttons you click on the screen. |
