Got a postcard w pencil ID on the back of Ed Ainsmith�. which is doubtful because I don�t think he ever played for the Yankees. So who is this??? Thanks for any help you can give�.

That's a New York Giants' uniform, and Ainsmith played for the Giants at the end of his ML career, in 1924. Here are their 1924 uniforms from Dressed to the Nines:
