Hi all:

Any Net54 members win this card? a 1974 Topps Deckle Edge White back of Carlton Fisk that sold for $11,700 and change?

Curious of the history of these cards. It seems the Whitebacks are much rarer than the gray backs. and of course any 1/1 in a PSA 10 of a HOFer will generate much interest. Just surprised at the final price. And it's not like just two guys going crazy, there were a lot of underbidders in the $9 -$10K range.

A friend of mine who is not too ebay literate has a PSA 10 of Carfish Hunter and asked me to list it for him as a BIN obo which I did earlier tonight. However I am hoping to find the buyer of the Fisk here on Net54 to see if he has interest in this Hunter.

Anyone else have any 10's in the set to share?

I have done this set in grey back, white back and undeckled ( squared/mixed) form. Also have a full set on two uncut sheets and a couple of unopened packs ( two variations).

The last card I needed was a white back Fisk. I got it from Steve Werely and paid dearly. I still have a bunch of them still encased that I bought that way intending to break them out for binder presentation but have not got to it yet. Also have a few graded extras.
