Does anybody know anything about this lamp. I'm guessing 1940s-1950s?

I could be wrong, but it looks like someone just added a baseball trophy topper to a regular lamp. It looks cool but I would guess it would have low value. For your friend's sake I hope I am wrong and it is a Ruth or Mantle lamp or something else that is valuable.
