RIP Pete Rose
RIP PETE, To one of the best ever, and know one played the game harder.
|
Watching the Reds as a kid in the late 60's and into the Big Red Machine days of 75 to 76 was a gift. As a yankee fan 76 was tough, there were no holes in that Reds lineup.
Rest in Peace Mr.Rose.Thank you for sharing your talent yor hustle and determination with Baseball fans. ATHK!! Pete Rose... |

I loved watching him play the game. RIP Pete :o |
Got to meet him many times. Nobody knew the entirety of the game better; perhaps Don Zimmer was right there with him.
As a kid, I'll never forget his tremendous hustle, and how he sprinted to first base like a jackrabbit after drawing a walk. Huge loss for baseball, and very sad he never lived to see induction into the HOF. RIP Pete |
