Verlander Rookie Card
I seldom delve in cards of this from this time, but my grandson really likes Verlander a lot. I though I would get him a rookie card for his birthday. Yet, I am at a complete loss to figure out which card that is. Is it 2005 Topps No. 677, Topps 2006 No 641 or something different. Not that appreciation value is critical, is there something I should consider. Your help would be appreciated very much. Nothing seems simple. Thank you.

Verlander rookie is 2005. Plenty for sale. If you want to take a chance on a really nice one buy a complete set. Or just spend the money on a 10..

That would have been my thought as well. But then Topps in 2006 issues a card identified on the card as "rookie card". Seems weird to me.
I plan to find a PSA 10, yes. Kids and "grades". Thanks! |

Probably the most desirable is his 2005 Topps Chrome, considered I think, the most treasured by the hobby. Again, there are different rarities of this card. Mine is a refractor, numbered to 500. This card comes in the base, no autograph, a refractor, and different levels of his refractor autographed. Hope this helps. Verlander is a sure Hall of Fame player.
Good Luck. |
Thanks to all!
