WNBA playoffs
 

May not be much interest even with Caitlin now in the league but what the hell. Caitlin got blown out today in her first post season game and was abysmal -- 4 of 17 from 2 and 2 of 13 from 3.

I'm following. It will be fun to see if anyone can takes the Aces down. The only silly thing about their playoffs is that 3/4 of the league gets in...

The Liberty and Lynx are both playing pretty well.

How many 42 year olds have ever scored 20 points in a playoff game like Diana did today?

It made for an exciting 3 way race among 3 mediocre teams for the last spot!!!

Right now, Caitlan's game reminds me a lot of James Harden (maybe a little bit of Russell Westbrook). Ball dominant guard who can fill up the stat sheet, but is not always efficient and turns the ball over a lot trying to do too much.

Low floor, high ceiling player. When she's great, she's amazing. When she's not, it's going to be hard for her team to overcome, because she is such a huge part of the offense.

I think she'll get better with some off season rest and should show some improvement to her efficiency next year.

Indiana has some really good offensive weapons besides Caitlan Clark, but to get to the next level they're going to have to figure out how to get some defensive stoppers into the rotation. Scoring points isn't usually a problem for them, it's stopping other teams from scoring points that's the issue.

Caitlin out. Taurasi out and likely to retire. The top players in the game -- A'ja, Breanna, and Napheesa -- into the semis.
