Anyone else have a terrible time with international shipping lately?

In the past year I have had a terrible time receiving international shipments. I’ve already written off two packages from Mexico, one from South Korea, and one from Austrialia. I currently have another pushing 5 weeks from Mexico and I’m pretty sure I’ll never see it as well. All five have been baseball photos or premiums in the $20-$50 range. At the same time I’ve purchased a dozen or so items from dealers in Japan and they average about 10 days. I had one item make the trip from Tokyo to Nashville in 3 days via regular Japan Post. I’ve never had this issue until this year. Anyone else having issues?

I ship from the UK to the States quite a lot and I've actually seen things improve this year. Mostly the items I send are delivered in a week or so.

Are your packages all hitting delays at the same point (e..g in customs)?

By the time a graded card makes it out to Santa Ana, gets authenticated, then comes back through Santa Ana and Jersey City, I typically get graded cards much faster from Canada or Japan or wherever. I wouldn't say I buy frequently, but I haven't had any issues recently.

I have no idea. The tracking for all three packages from Mexico direct me to the Mexican Postal Service website and are listed as “No se encontró información relacionada conla guía” which I’ve translated as: “No information related to the guide was found.” Two of the three come from a seller with 100% feedback on 20k sales and the other is smaller but decent feedback. The Australian seller didn’t provide tracking, but is another large seller and has almost 15k positive feedback. The Korean tracking was listed as being received by Korean Air Post and never heard from again.

I guess patience is a virtue and I'm not cursed. My most recent purchase from Mexico has arrived. Postage was dated July 5th so I'm assuming customs held it up. It was also opened and resealed, but intact so I assume it was searched at some point. Anywho it's here. Thanks all!
