1963 Nellie Fox Transfer-ette Help
 

Hi, experts. I’m trying to find out anything I can about this issue. I can find good info on the 1964 Tranfer-ette issue, including the uncutvteam sheets but essentially nothing on the 1963 issue. I am aware of Nellie Fox versions in red, blue and black. Photo is of a red I recently purchased, still in original wrapper. Any help getting more info on this would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have an answer nor do I have a Standard Catalog available to see what Bob may or may not have had back in the day but

I did check the Beckett OPG and there was a 64 Cubs set so my suspicion is that the same company which did the 64 Cubs did the 63 White Sox. May have been a test or less available but I'd look for other 63 White Sox to see if my suspicion is correct

Thanks for the info, Rich. I’m aware of the team sheets as well. Trying in vain to get more info on the single Fox issues.

There are three 1963 Nellie Fox Transfer-ette listings on WorthPoint but I couldn't find any other White Sox or Cubs, apparently it was a single player issue the year before they did the White Sox and Cubs team sets.
