What would be a good price.....

What would be a good price to offer for a T205 Chief Bender graded PSA 3 with a Honest Long Cut back? I am not too familiar with this issue and have the opportunity to pick one up.
Thanks,
Bob

There are many ways to try to determine the value of a card. For example, one could

Go on Heritage and look at past sale prices and sort by "Most Recent Sales"
https://www.ha.com/heritage-auctions...rchives-122214

Go on REA and do the same, but sort by "Recent sales":
https://bid.robertedwardauctions.com/lots/gallery/?

Go on on 130point.com and search recent ebay sales:https://130point.com/sales/

Go on the psa website itself: https://www.psacard.com/auctionprice.../values/239932

I'd put the value around $325. But one would have to see the card to see how nice it is and if it is in a new slab and graded recently. If it is centered and nice looking, it could be worth more. If it is in an old slab and does not have great eye appeal, it would be worth less.

Favorite answer ; So what is the current owner asking , and what are the comps , and how long ago was the last auction sale ? And what is the eye appeal versus the other PSA 3's ? Stay in touch.

What’s it worth to you? There is no value written in stone when it comes to collectibles. You have to decide if the price that the seller is asking is one you’re comfortable with, not what a hundred people here tell you they think it’s worth. That’s how you determine the value of any particular card. Comps are numbers that other people decided they were comfortable with on that particular card at the time they made the purchase. They have no relevance and mean nothing to me when I am looking to buy something.

Bob - If the seller says, "Let me see what I have into it", you say, "I don't care WTF you have into it" :D:D:D

HA.

I've never quite understood the hostility to this concept. Whether the man mutters to himself in Elvish and proclaims that his Lord Elrond has need of it, or that he has more into it than you're offering, the reasoning isn't particularly relevant. He's not willing to sell at the price that you're willing to buy. Your only viable alternatives at that point are to move along or make a more compelling offer. Giving him a lengthy pedantic discourse on the concept of sunk cost is unlikely to sway his thinking.

I suppose when we're looking to buy something nice from a seller who isn't willing to meet us on price, it's only natural to get agitated at that outcome, which leads us to attack the jejune arguments proffered for why the seller couldn't possibly sell for the price that we're offering.

For me personally I would definitely have to see the card ,
A PSA 3 T205 Is a card that can look great or can look pretty bad
