Amazon Vintage Card Buying
1 Attachment(s)
I was scrolling around looking at Chuck Connors cards and saw this. I guess, even with owning some Amazon stock, I had no idea about their foray into vintage cards. Maybe I missed it?
In looking a little more it seems they have gotten into the market but mostly newer stuff. When asked why, to most capitalistic questions, the answer is always money. I wonder if they take it any further? Maybe they will buy Fanatics? I just made that up, so please don't quote me. https://www.amazon.com/Mothers-Cooki.../dp/B07CKWG9Q3 and a Connors card I didn't get on Amazon ps...I realize 1950, 1952 aren't WWII and before, but they aren't too far off. And if Amazon has those now, then they will eventually get pre-wwii also. . |
3rd parties can list and sell on Amazon. The linked card is from Dean’s Cards for example, just posted on Amazon’s platform. Amazon itself isn’t in the vintage card business, they just sign deals with pretty much anyone to sell and list on their platform.

I've always liked Chuck Connors! Tough to find an autograph from his playing days but they do exist!

Amazon's selling fees are insane. We complain about Ebay fees and BIN prices, but Amazon would necessitate even higher mark-ups for anybody listing cards there.

It would help if I attached the photo!

Still watch his tv shows- Rifleman

I'm not trying to hijack Leon's thread, but you just can't beat any western show that has either Chuck Connors or Fess Parker (and don't forget Clint Walker!).
Sorry Leon. |

Heads up! There is vintage on Amazon; these came from there. Same sellers you are used to seeing elsewhere.

Amazon is everywhere...Alot of vintage on there, but still no comparison to eBay.
