Bert Campaneris-Oddball Items Wanted & Hello

Dear Baseball Card Community:

My name is Rick and I'm really happy to be here. I stumbled across your community searching for a 1965 J.D. McCarthy Postcard of my favorite player, Bert Campaneris. So, since I'm here I might as well introduce myself and see if there is anyone here that has any of the Campy items that I need to complete my collection. (I also wanted to say Hi!)

So, here is what I'm looking for: (All Bert Campaneris items)

1964 Topps (Rookie All Star Banquet) #21
1965 JD McCarthy Postcard #NNO
1966 Sports Service (A's) #NNO
1967 Topps (Discs) #NNO
1967 Dexter Press #2
1967 Sports Service (A's)
1969 Broder #NNO
1969 Oakland A's (Picture Pack) #NNO
1970 Mike Anderson Postcard #NNO
1970-71 Dayton Daily News (M137) #48

And, anything else Campy related that you think a big fan of his might enjoy.

Again, hello to everyone and my email address is coachrickfrank@gmail.com and let me know if you have anything or if you have any leads.

Thank you so much!!

Rick

Campy

Welcome Rick, I follow everything related the Cuban baseball and Cuban born players. I will check what I have on Campaneris and get back with you. Here is a great photo from an earlier post: https://www.net54baseball.com/showpo...&postcount=420

This photo made quite an impression on me when I was 6. Has anyone else ever thrown a bat at a pitcher?

Billy Martin ordered the "hit" on Campaneris. Billy understood that Campy was the key to the A's offense. In 1977, Martin named Campy to the All-Star team and then in 1983 he signed Campy to the Yankees. Campy would hit .322 in his final season at age 41.
