New Season of Youth Hockey Starting

Rate Skate is this week for our local youth hockey. My son moved up to 12U. He wanted to play goalie last year but was 5th string because he never tried out as goalie. So tonight is his first night learning humility. Most asked question: "Since when were you a goalie?"

My son started his first game in goal ever today. His team won 5-3. My son has some great offensive players, and I'm sure they shouldered some of the load of playing better defense. Anyway, it is a good start. They won both games of a double header.
