FS: Original photos used for Enos Slaughter 50 Bowman And Musial Used for Premiums
 

Hi Folks,
I have a few nice Original photos used for cards for sale.

The first is the image used for Enos Slaughters 1950 And 1951 Bowman. The Photo was taken Ca.1950, and was filed on 10-3-51 per the back. This photo is very much in the style of George Dorrill (who took many of the cardinals late 40s and early 50s photos that bowman used) I am 99% sure he is the photographer. Has a few small creases as many photos do, but in nice shape overall.

The second is a Ca.1952 photo of Stan Musial Used for his 1952 Rawlings "DeLong Style" Premium and 1952 Royal Desert Premium. Also taken by George and stamped on the back with his name. Photo surface has cracking but it does not break the photos surface and is only really visible up close. A really nice photo. Higher grades of the Royal dessert near and surpass $1000. The original photo is no doubt much rarer.

Zero interest in a 1950 / 1951 Bowman used hofer card image. I don't get it.. I understand the image of Stan, though a beauty it was used for oddball releases.

Has unique memorabilia literally fell off a cliff in terms of demand? Why is everything cool/unique that I go for selling for insane money then? Somebody explain please.

I mean $250 for the ORIGINAL image. That's what a PSA 7 goes for.. and there are a GAZILLION of them.
Somebody please offer me original Bowman/topps used images of hofers for this price. I would love to buy them.

Hi Lucas - I too am fascinated by the lack of demand for more unique items like this compared to very common cards. That said - a PSA encapsulated type 1 copy of the same image went for $173 at RMY last year, so a buyer is likely out there for the right price.

Got an eBay offer on the musial for $300. If anybody wants it for $275 here let me know.
