Guy buys a trunk off Facebook Marketplace for 75 bucks and finds this inside. There’s still some crazy stuff out there.

Cool piece. He already sold it to a private client of REA.

Remarkable; good thing PSA has massive card holders now... ;-)

Awesome sheet!

WOW!!! So cool. Is that type of 35 uncut sheet unique?

Nope, REA sold ones in 2008 and 2017.

Is it known if these originated from the same find that produced the '33 Goudey uncut sheets? I knew about the '33 Goudey regular set and a few Sport King sheets, but hadn't seen these '35 sheets before - likely from the same find, I'm guessing....

Great find. There's also a 1935 Goudey uncut sheet with Ruth that is smaller due to less cards. I believe 6 cards total and measures 7 x 5 3/4"
It has Frankie Frisch on the back.

That’s cool. Do you happen to have a scan?

Another without Ruth with Chuck Klein on the back.
Unfortunately, I don't have a picture.

Plot twist: He had *two* of them.

Talked to him yesterday, seems like a good guy who had something good happen to him. Looking at previous auction sales (admittedly pre-pandemic) identical copies sold for $8k in 2008 and $6k in 2017. I think he killed it in what he got for these. Glad he bumped into Leighton as he definitely had a lot of guys trying to rip him off.
