Memory lane-aug 17 Overload Saw the preview and amazed I know some of the items have to be From Net54 members as I seen here before #mind-blown-away |
Many of the prewar items are mine, including some rare Cobbs, Wagners, Mathewsons, 3 moonlight Graham items, and some very tough and early Thorpe items. |

I looked at the preview and stopped once I saw the end of Ryan’s cards. Which took a few pages. :) |
Ryan’s Cards Yes great cards!!! |
 Good luck Ryan! |
Many Great Items I will be a spectator rooting all my net54 peers on |
Good time for picking up Thorpe. LOTG has a blank back M101-5 PSA 8 coming up in its next auction. |
Thanks All. I just checked and it appears the auction is open for bidding. |
Wow, what an auction. I guess the Strongsville fiasco hasn't impacted ML one bit. |
ML auction Great stuff, good luck to all owners and bidders- Trent King |

Love the voice over about the card and player very different. And good luck to ryan |
Was underwhelmed on memorabilia. Like REA, seemingly 90% cards. Of course nothing wrong with that …. If you are looking for cards …. As most of you are. |

Jerry, you probably once owned half my collection… only a slight exaggeration. Leon owned stuff too. It’s funny how stuff gets passed around the board, either from auction or privately |
Bids Ryan thanks for the kind words but my collection pales(d) next to yours...Phil, I will post my bids tomorrow night...just for clarification "lockdown bids" means Tim Walz will come to your house and shoot you with a paint-gun if you attempt to outbid me...Jerry |

The Sid Smith Old Mill brown is exciting to see! Good luck buyers and sellers |

Ryan, speaking of flips, did you or Memory Lane consider having your collection reslabbed to note the pedigree, i.e. "The Hotchkiss Collection." I would think that likely would have added to the bottom line. |
No disrespect to Ryan intended, but come on. |

However, regarding reslabbing, at one point we did discuss having PSA re-slab my T206 set that was broken up in the last ML auction, since it was a retiring PSA registry set and one of only two registered, complete 524 sets ever. But we didnt do anything. |

 Thx Josh Reiner |

I'd pay less for a card slabbed 'The Ryan Hotchkiss Collection' ;) |

Regarding the Rose Co Graham- a different one went on BST and it sold lightening fast. I missed out by a hair. But the owner had 2!! True story, I think there are only two and he had them both. I begged him to sell me his other one and after some thought, he staked his asking price and I said ok. I was lucky to get it. Honestly, it was a very hard item to consign; it’s one of the 7-10 items I kind of second guess consigning bc I will never be able to get another. |

Very few times I wish I was a Trust Fund baby, this is one of them. |

I remember this going up also, it was in the dead of winter when most baseball is hibernating and was astutely claimed in only 5 mins, amazing! The thread is very enjoyable to read: https://www.net54baseball.com/showth...onlight+graham |

Never say never in this hobby. I have reacquired several pieces I sold before. And with about 95% of them, I paid more the 2nd time. But I still got them back. Quote:
