Best storage for raw T cards
 

I wanted to ask t206 and t205 collectors what their preferred card protection is for larger volume of raw cards.

Do you use penny sleeves and then hard cases? Top loaders? Trying to balance budget, card security/protection and nice display as well.

Heading to Cleveland so I figure every possible supply option will be available here - before I get overwhelmed with options, I figure members here have probably nailed this many times over!

I use full size penny sleeves + card savers due to the size and ability to store cards compactly. I have not had any issues with dinged corners etc.

Penny sleeves and top loaders.

I have had some in a variety of holders. T card size snap together cases. Old folded acrylic holders. screwdowns, very old T card pages, Mylar sleeves inside top loaders.

For me the sleeve and toploader are the best balance between protection amd space and access.

I have had some of the nicer ones graded.

I use penny sleeves in a card saver.
I have had experiences where cards slid out of the top loaders.

I use tobacco sized penny sleeves in tobacco toploaders from UltraPro - then a tobacco card box that holds 50 of the toploaders. Works great -

I have seen others put the cards in cigar boxes, which is actually a cooler way to store them, if less space efficient. You can pick up lots of old cigar boxes pretty cheap on ebay.

BCW offers standard sized penny sleeves with a built in pocket which perfectly holds T206/T205 size cards. They fit in standard page pockets and standard top-loaders. I prefer these over the smaller cards bumping around in holders which are too big.

If you like to display your cards, Ultra Pro One-Touch cases are a good way to go. It’s like a slab without the conjured-up number, no flip and a magnet that secures the card within the case.

The central recessed portion that holds the card in place fits T205 and T206 cards. And because it is recessed, PSA can’t falsely claim that you “altered” your card by displaying it in a screw-down holder.
