Early Coupon Cigarettes info wanted

Hey everyone, I'm looking for information on T213 Coupon Cigarettes from the late 1930's and 1940's, specifically if Jefferson Burdick or our Hobby pioneers wrote about this set or added it in the 1939 US Card Catalog? Does anyone have any pricing data for this set from 1939? I had heard that Burdick didn't know about this set until the 1940's? Thank you.

A nice introduction for T213 cards exists here: https://www.sportscollectorsdaily.co...igarettes-set/ at the Sport Collectors Daily . T213 cards all have Coupon cigarette backs but are now recognized as having three varieties. They are much earlier than your posting asserts with T213 Type 2 cards (most common) being printed from 1914-1916 (approximately). If you find cards with Coupon backs from the 1930s or 1940s, they are not T213 cards but maybe some related release. I believe that since these cards have a T-designation Burdick cataloged them. (Somebody correct me if I’m wrong). You can find existing checklists in the Trading Card Database or maybe PSA’s set registry.

Hi. Strike that. I mixed up two different references. The page below is from Charles Bray 1950 book of checklists.

Questions like this were in the wheelhouse of the late, great Ted Z:

And a very nice write up on the topic by the current, great Anson W (Net54 cozumeleno):
