Delta Airlines
 

Our flight was delayed (supposedly still) due to Crowdstrike, so my buddy and I will miss the show today as well as missing at least the first hour of the Guardians game this evening. I didn’t find out about the delay until late last night, and I was on the phone with Delta for about 2 hours.

Is anyone else having a similar disappointing start to their National trip?

I'm attending the show as part of a longer road trip and have made it, however my wife is meeting me here and her flight had to turrn around because they couldn't climb over 10k for some reason.

My Southwest flight was cancelled out of NY on Tuesday morning. I think bad weather in the mid west halted the planes coming east Monday night. I could have drove to Baltimore to pick up my connecting flight but I was pressed for time…. So I am home !

Delta has been ridiculous since last Friday with the outage.
We were returning from Michigan on Friday and they kept saying it was delayed multiple times before they just cancelled it entirely.
We booked Southwest and made it home later that evening thankfully.

Hope you have better luck with Delta and are able to make it!

By some miracle, we were put on an earlier flight on standby, and there were enough no-shows for us to secure seats. We will be able to go to the show for a short time and the game.

Exactly why flying is best left to the birds. I drive everywhere and have never had a cancellation.
