1965 Topps white back?
Came across this 1965 Topps #173 Tigers team card with what appears to be a white back. It is not sun stained — it’s just missing the blue on the back altogether. Sun stained or exposed examples I'm aware of maintain the frame, but dull the blue to grey (or brown blue, etc.). This one's different.

I’m guessing that card had heavy and extended exposure to water and the moisture soaked the blue ink off of the back of the card.

Thanks for the response. I don't really think it could be that though. There are no other signs of water damage on the card, and all of the color is intact on the front. The black ink on the back is in fine shape too.

I ran across this 1965 Topps blueless back from a different series so apparently there were some that got past Quality Control.
