Do these qualify as misprints. Top borders? Thanks joe.

The Terry Francona (Expos Rookies Stars) is just a miscut showing the outer edge of the sheet, the Gura and Foster are legitimate misprints that I have never seen before. They are obviously side by side on the uncut sheet.

Those markings across Gura and Foster look 3-dimensional, like they're really small punctures in the cards. Also Foster looks hand cut - look at that left edge.

You're right, those are puncture marks not print marks like I originally thought. Gura and Foster aren't even on the same slit, Gura is an *A and Foster is a *B, but they were both probably on the same 264 card super sheet.

Agreeing with this, the Foster card is totally hand cut and with a full pic, the other is likely too. I think these are scrap from a dumpster dive after QC tossed them. Likely a broken roller at the printer caused the puncture damage.

The first is just miscut.

I've gotten cards like Gura and Foster from packs when they were new.

As far as I can tell they're from part of the machine that dos the cutting. I call them gripper marks.

They're not common, but the one I got that I didn't get from a pack myself was free because it was damaged and the dealer whose shop I hung out at saved that sort of stuff for me.
