This auction is for 1 VIP ticket to National Sports Collectors Convention, 2024.

The winner of the 1st contest, Bob M.( hi Bob) , already has a VIP ticket and said we could auction his ticket off for charity. Thanks so much Bob!! That's a great idea. He is fine with the request for the donation to go where it is going.

The auction will end this Sunday, the 7th, at 7pm CST.....a bid at 7:00 is good, a bid at 7:01 is not

Whomever buys this can do whatever they want to with it, sell, trade or whatever...but I need a name for the ticket within 1 week of the close of the bidding.

As has been said, I work with a local rescue, Passport for Paws, that is unbelievable. I don't know how the main ladies do it. Every month they ship off 35-55 dogs (mostly) and cats to go up north to MN and WI from Texas, to rescues that have capacity. For those that don't know, in North Texas there are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of dogs and cats being put down (killed) monthly due to overcrowding at the shelters. It's awful.

This donation can go straight to them or I can take it and give it to them. I do a lot of fostering (should be getting 2 puppies today) for them. They are always in need of money to do animal-saving things. They are Passport for Paws, in McKinney Texas. They are a 501c3 non profit. I donate to them in addition to my time and resources caring for the fosters. I get way more out of it than I put into it.

Unfortunately, I cannot make it this year, but Kudos for what you do!

We have a rescue dog and he originally came from Texas and was brought here by one of our local organizations in Nebraska - - and we are sure glad to have him in our family!

Rescue dogs are awesome. The only problem with fostering is that I want to keep them all !
