I know Frank Frisch is one.

Mantle, Rose, Chipper.

It's a trick question because at least one is a pitcher, I am guessing.

Vida Blue, Rose, Mantle, Frisch, Pendleton, Ken Caminiti, Willie McGee (not sure) and...?

edit...I missed that Jones was mentioned

I could have guessed for years and not come up with those two.

Maury Wills was easy for me to remember because of the MVP cards Topps put out in 1975, where they had to create a Wills card from 1962 because of course Maury was not on board with Topps then. It just looked strange to see a picture of a "card" that did not exist. It also helped that my dad was a diehard Dodger fan who crowed about Maury's SB prowess when I was growing up, which is why I wondered why the guy had no cards for so many years and why I noticed the '62 mockup.

Thanks, Phil. I'm good, exactly three weeks out from my new right hip. Slight hitch in my get-along but I've ditched the cane and walking fairly well.

I've been quiet on the hobby front since I sold off most of my sets. I'm slowly getting the rest of what I have ready to sell. But I still poke my head in here pretty much daily.

Stay well.

For me Wills is always drag bunting out of the left side batters box. I completely blanked on him as a switch-hitter.

Vida Blue I knew because I did a few blog posts on him when I was still actively blogging. He was committed to playing quarterback for my Houston Cougars but signed with the A's to help his family. UH recruited heavily out of Louisiana in both football and basketball back then.
