Lou Gehrig Baseball Scrap Book #77-Need Help Identifying

3 Attachment(s)
I've owned these "cards" that are numbered and show two players including Lou Gehrig. They appear to have been cut from a newspaper and may have been cut in pairs.

Does anyone have any additional information on these such as year or make. Thanks, Tom

Did some sneaky detective work and found this image from 1934 Boston Downtown....

This is Bond Clothing at Essex and Washington. So I would guess this is from a Boston newspaper in 1934 or 1935? Its a start.....

Great tip! I do believe when I purchased these years ago the seller referenced a Boston newspaper.

Tom,
Your Baseball Scrap Book clipping was issued March 23, 1934, by the Boston Record. There were at least 192 numbers in the series stretching from February through late May. Whether they also were issued by the Evening American or Sunday Advertiser I am not sure though those three papers were interconnected and part of the Hearst family of newspapers. It is also possible Hearst papers in other cities ran a similar series as they did with the 1936 Sports Stamps.

Thank you for the detailed information.
