As the early beginnings of junk wax, don’t forget the grocery sheets with UPCs. :D

Ummm...come again?

Where the heck did these come from?!?

I know in 1983 you could get uncut sheets off an ad on one of those send away glossy header cards - but 1984? By describing these as "Grocery" sheets, does that mean these were available for purchase at grocery stores?

Had never seen these...

Does anyone else recall these from 1984 or other years?

I thumbtacked them on my walls and my mom tossed them in one of our moves, but I can say that I had these and they came from Meijer. (A grocery chain in the midwest, a supermarket like Walmart) As I remember they were in the toy section in a box display upright, much like wrapping paper at Christmas. I had the 1984, my memory does not recall seeing other years at the store.

Found some 1985s -

...and there are lots of this sheet set for 1987 out there, but I really don't know if this was a true Topps product like the rolls. There's nothing concrete like the Duryea info. -
