Any good card shops in the Green Bay area?

Are there any good card shops in the Green Bay, Depere, Appleton WI. area?
We are heading out there soon to scout out the areas for a potential move in a year when I retire.

We did the stadium tour a few years ago when I took my wife to a Packers game and I was wondering what else there might be to visit.
We are going to check out a minor league baseball game if they are home when we go.

Anything else?

Thanks,
Bob

Bob,

I have dealt with this shop via mail, not been in person. Will ask my daughter who lives in Neenah and see what she says.

Bob, from my daughter-
there are plenty of card shops in the area, i have never been to any to know how good they are. If he is into sports Green Bay Packers (of course), Green Bay Blizzards (indoor football), Green Bay Gambers (hockey), Green Bay Rockers (baseball), Appleton Timber Rattlers (baseball), Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (baseball). there is the Appleon PAC (Performing Arts Center), but also Green Bay has the Weidner Center, Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center and other smaller ones. The Resch Center in Green Bay always has things going on. The New Zoo in Green Bay. Oshkosh has the Leach Amplitheater which has decent bands in summer on Thursday nights. Plenty of places to golf. lots of summer festivals in the area. lot of Farmers Markets (Green Bay has Wednesday night and Saturday morning, Appleton, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac on Saturday morning, smaller cities have them too). Water, water, water everywhere. Lake Michigan, Fox River, Wolf River, Lake Winnebago, Lake Butte de Morts, Little Lake Butte de Morts) there really is a ton of stuff going on within an hour of anywhere in Green Bay / Fox Cities area)

Hey Jim.
Thanks for the replies. I am probably going to check out the store on Thursday. We already had plans for the Wednesday Farmers market and the Rockers on Tuesday night. Probably check out the zoo you mentioned and maybe the Appleton baseball since we are staying in Appleton. Thanks for the tips!

Green Bay Area

I live in De Pere, just outside of Green Bay.

I rarely see any pre-war cards at the card shops between Green Bay and Oshkosh. There are card shows occasionally and a few tables may have some pre-war cards.

Additional ideas are: trying new friday night fish fry's every week, trying new supper clubs, watching the Packer's training camp, hiking and kayaking in Door County at the state and county parks, picking fruit - strawberries, tart cherries, blueberries, and apples all within 1 hour of Green Bay, lots of public land for hunting and salmon fishing on Lake Michigan is also fun.

I realize you may have already departed Green Bay, but would be happy to meet up on one of your future visits or to talk further via PM.

Best Regards,
Chris
