CHARLES "KID" NICHOLS cut signature from a check attached to the top of a gold Hall of Fame plaque postcard. On the reverse is attached a short note written by Nichols wife in response to the autograph request. Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Boston Beaneaters, St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies from 1890 to 1906. He is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame. He is famous for being the youngest pitcher to join the 300 win club. Nichols died in 1953. $850.00
