Got some new autos I need help with authenticity
Updated with 4 new autos I've found.
I picked up a collection that had several autographs in it. I thought there was a Facebook group that specialized in autograph help, but I can't seem to find it. So I thought I'd try here. I have a 10x Loop. Anything I can do with that to tell going forward? Also, what does adding a name or "To whomever" do to the value? Does it make the value go down usually? New autos where I'm looking for help figuring out if authentic https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...96f72bb1_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...fc1facd7_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...54566e30_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...83b120ac_z.jpg Original Posted Autos First Ted Williams framed photo with Scoreboard COA https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...4b08336c_c.jpg Next Ted Williams HOF card/coin https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...d65f2dc9_c.jpg4 Another Williams (with Bill Terry) The "T" in Ted is different on this one, so I'm kind of leery. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...ef40ca61_c.jpg Mark McGwire lot of 1987 Mother's Cookies (This one had an eBay purchase order with it in addition to the note) https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...9795e0cb_c.jpg Finally Tony Gwynn https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...2f405b4e_c.jpg |
McGwire, Gwynn, and the Ted coin are all good.
Can't really tell on the other two Teds, but don't love them. No opinion on Terry. |
Yea, I'll try and post a better/closer up photo of the framed team photo/auto. I think it's legit because the T is the same as the HOFer coin. Not sure on the Terry/Ted dual. That's the one I'm worried about.
The Ted by itself comes with a Scoreboard COA, and everything I've researched about them says they did NOT sell fake autos. Quote:

Scoreboard was a solid company, yes, but some forgers would photocopy and reprint their COAs to pass off junk.

Added some newbies.

The Griffey Jr. autograph doesn't appear authentic to me
|
Ok, thank you. Even though it's a Steiner authenticated, I might go ahead and get it done by JSA at the show next weekend. But I thought Steiner was legit.

I don't like the Gibson .
The Musial is a souvenir photo that was available at his restaurant in St. Louis for many years . The Best Wishes Stan Musial is printed on the photo. Occasionally if Musial was at the restaurant he would inscribe the photo only . There have been a few to show up with an inscription as well as the Best Wishes Stan Musial rewritten to the side or at the bottom with an authentic IP autograph. Griffey I'm not liking w/ or w/out the sticker because those have been forged also . I got a IP Griffey Jr at a card show in 1992 and some others of his and this signature " feels " different. Feller is good . |
I agree- don't like Gibson or Griffey

The Griffey Jr. signature isn't like his most recognizable signature we are used to seeing, but he did sign that way. Personally, I wouldn't want it, as I agree with most, it just doesn't look right.

I can’t tell the Teddy plaque but the others are 100% authentic imo, especially the Griffey, though like others have said he’s changed his signature many times over the year, it’s legit though.
