1917 NY Giants Lithograph information
1 Attachment(s)
I recently purchased a framed 1917 New York Giants Panoramic View Print. Its never been out of the frame and I have no intentions of removing from the frame. The nails in the back are all old square nails and the frame is period correct. I am an antique dealer and its as right as rain. I am wondering if its a variation of the Atwell & Burke Panoramic Supplements. The thing is my print measures longer than others that I have seen when googling. The inside / print area measures approx 14-5/8" x 35-5/8" which is longer than the largest supplement . I am puzzled by this and would appreciate any input.

The m113 uses the same picture, but is smaller, with a hand written Burke Atwell credit in (not on) the bottom right corner of the picture.

I don't remember seeing anything quite that big. Neat looking supplement. Hard to put a value on it.

There is a White Sox version too:

Starting in December 1916 everything was an m114, except those two. I differentiate m113s from m114s by their size, not their release date, because I'm of the opinion that it makes sense to do it that way. |
