Willie Mays Interview

Here is a Mays interview from seven years ago, and right in the beginning, Willie shows some acumen about the value of vintage cards. He does, however, get a '52 Bowman Mays card confused with a '51 Bowman Mays card, asserting that the '52 Bowman card of himself is his "first card." As the narrator suggests, Willie is still going strong!

May have been posted 7 years ago, but the hairstyle on that lady looks a lot older than that. 90's maybe?

Willie would not seem to know what mint condition is, LOL.

I believe this interview was sometime between 1988-1991.

I fixated on "mint condition" for a minute too.

I think he said that '52 Bowman was his rookie card also. Not a big deal in the moment.

Great interview. Thanks for posting it.
