Here is Richard "Shadow" Carroll. He played 2 games in 1909 for NYAL.

Spooner and Wells is an underrated photographer/photo service, especially in the area of early auto racing. Their images in that genre should be revered the way Charles Conlon is to baseball, and maybe someday they will.
