Naoya Inoue
From highlight films he looks unbelievable. How good is he? Is his pricey 2014 RC worth it?
|
His record is impressive but he needs to fight some better fighters before hes put into the same league with guys like Pac imo.
|
He's really good. I've watched him for years. He has a dynamite punch and he boxes well. He's no Pacquiao but neither is anyone else, so you can't hold that against him. Unless something weird happens, I think he is already a lock for the HOF on the first ballot. A guy doesn't win four divisions including some undisputed and not make the hall.
His RC is pricey but undisputed--as far as I know, there are no rival cards. I have the full 2014 set available if you are interested. |

Strange -- there are a bunch of raw ones on ebay from Japan, but most of them have pics taken at weird angles cutting off the corners.

The set is only 30 cards.
Hey, if you want just the one, I can keep the rest. There are multiple HOFers and champs in there. |

I bought a quantiy of the sets when they came out. They were cheap, basically because they weren't baseball or sumo and no one really cared. I hadn't realized any of the cards sold more than a couple dollars each until now. If I can find them, I'd let the entire set go for about the price of a single Inoue, if anyone is interested. Great checklist of Japanese boxing champions. (I sent about 4 sets to COMC years ago.)

Might have to get a couple of these graded, if he keeps his winning streak alive.

I just found 6 mint sets :D

Looks like prices are about $220 raw, and $400+ for PSA 10 (the majority are grading PSA 10).
There is also a 2014 Baseball card, and an autograph card from the boxing set. |
