Rare 1963 Stan Musial Sticker?? Info sought

1 Attachment(s)
I picked up a Stan Musial Sticker in a lot of Musial stuff a while back. I wasn't sure exactly what it is but I found a listing on ebay for the same sticker.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/256111291313

I figured the great and the good of Net54 would know. So can anyone shed some info about these? Where were they issued? Are they really rare? Are they really worth $500? Any other info is appreciated.

If no other information emerges, I would research "Fasson" and its connection to the adhesive sticker giant Avery, who seems to own it/them now.

Were they their own company before being swallowed up? Otherwise, wouldn't the Avery trademark be on it instead of "Fasson"?

It may help point to an estimated date of origin.

Here’s a list onto another for sale: actually better link on next comment…

Looks like it has part of the same patent number on it…

I would guess likely one of two options off-hand.

First would be that Rawling's seemed to commonly use the phrase "Baseball's Greatest Record Holder" when Stan was signed to them on most products. It could have been a premium with a mitt or something.

However, it not stating Rawling's makes me think the second option is most likely. It could be one of the plentiful oddball items out of Stan The Man, Inc. If look it something like the Rack-em-up bat holder or other products it seems to drop into that window.

Thanks Justin. I could definitely see it being in the Musial Rawlings glove box. The picture of Stan and the gold border to the sticker seem to match. I can't be sure, but maybe somebody remembers opening one of these in the 60s.
