Do you have a price in mind?

ruth-gehrig 05-19-2024 07:46 AM

This one I'm having a hard time pricing as I cannot find a single sold example. I know people aren't real fond of the "make me an offer" statement but I think that's what I'm going to have to do here:p

Very cool, but why was there a need to an indoor baseball in 1920? Gym classes?

jingram058 05-19-2024 01:03 PM

It's very, very cool. But I have to ask... Is it a baseball, or a softball? Or do you have little hands?

Just taking a quick look at eBay and Google, it's worth a bit, even without a box and in mint condition. GLWS, sir!

Heres a link about the history of indoor baseball...

All the search terms I type come up empty. Most return pics and links of modern baseballs:confused:. This ball is more in line of softball size. Definitely bigger than a baseball

Here is a link to the Library of Congress, an entire issue of one of the Spalding Official Indoor Baseball Guides. Indoor baseball was a big deal at one time.
