5 Attachment(s)
1920s - 1930s has to be new old stock it's just to nice to have been played with. Official Indoor Base Ball with red and blue stitching. Amazing condition! Check my other listing of some balls with an antique holder.
Thanks! Michael |
Do you have a price in mind?
|
This one I'm having a hard time pricing as I cannot find a single sold example. I know people aren't real fond of the "make me an offer" statement but I think that's what I'm going to have to do here:p
|
Very cool, but why was there a need to an indoor baseball in 1920? Gym classes?
|
It's very, very cool. But I have to ask... Is it a baseball, or a softball? Or do you have little hands?
|
Just taking a quick look at eBay and Google, it's worth a bit, even without a box and in mint condition. GLWS, sir!

Heres a link about the history of indoor baseball...
http://thedesignmorgue.blogspot.com/...eball.html?m=1 All the search terms I type come up empty. Most return pics and links of modern baseballs:confused:. This ball is more in line of softball size. Definitely bigger than a baseball |

Here is a link to the Library of Congress, an entire issue of one of the Spalding Official Indoor Baseball Guides. Indoor baseball was a big deal at one time. |
I bid $100 shipped!
|
That's a beauty!
