I didn't know this either, but there does appear to be a variation on the back. I have the Lindstrom with the text above the line and ebay shows the alternate version with the text only below the cut line. Interesting!

The first iterations of the coupons were stamped in '27 and did not have the legal notices. My hunch is that ESCO printed the coupons w/o the legal notices in '28, got caught, and then corrected it. Probably no premium to it since very few pay attention to the coupons.
