Historic program indeed. As many know, 1951 was a fabled season in baseball history. The Rookie years of Willie and Mick, the third in 5 straight Yankees WS titles, and THE llSHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD.
Well, going into the last game of the season, the Giants and Dodgers were tied. The Giants saw Brooklyn winning and HAD to win to force the now famous best of three playoff.
This is a program from that last game, at Braves Field. Behind a complete game from Larry Jansen, the Giants eeked out a 3-2 win to force the playoff. Ironically, playoff here Bobby Thomson also homered in this do or die game.

Scored program in solid shape, save for a small spine split in bottom left. Great Historical and important piece.
