Pennant/banner help
 

Just picked up this piece. First, I thought pennant, now Im thinking banner Has openings on side to hang on a rod or something.

I'll prob sell it, but can't find another. its high quality embroidered, not just a junk decal. Any help would be appreciated. Kinda large

Not sure this matters, but the "TM"/trademark seems to suggest a level of officialness that a homemade piece might otherwise omit.

Looks like a hanging banner meant to be used outdoors as the material appears to be “flag quality” along with the stitching. Also is oriented correctly in your picture….. if it was meant to be displayed horizontally like a regular pennant the METS emblem would reflect that . Curious piece.

Hate to say it, but I don’t think it has much value. The “grommets” are the ones they typically use on banners meant to hang indoors.I’m guessing it originally sold for maybe 20 bucks.
