Offered here is a special group of 20 cards, each depicting one of the greatest to ever participate in their respective sport.

Condition wise the overall state of these is very good for cards this old. Exceptions being the Pele, Clay and Nicklaus cards which have been cut from a Panini album.

I’ll make the starting bid on this group a ridiculous $60. That is $3 per card and miles under the total value of this lot. Please use at least full dollar increments when bidding.

This will end on 30 April 2024 at 2300 EST. There will be no roll over time. The high bid at the end moment wins this. Bids on the final day up to and including 2300 EST are valid. Bids on the final day from 2301 EST onward are invalid. Make sure to follow along and bid in a timely manner if you are interested.

I would respectfully disagree on three of your RC designations, hope this is not bad form. Certainly, consensus is that Nicklaus' RC is his 1971 Barratt, not his 1973 Panini, for example. Great card and I own one, but just saying.

Not bad form at all in my opinion. That is the core purpose of this place ... Share information and help each other learn!

Please feel free to share your thoughts on the other 2 that I may have mis-labeled as RCs.

To ease any issues this may cause for bidders and the eventual buyer, I will add some extra cards of other GOAT types to the package.

If the current high bidder would like to retract their bid in light of Peters info, please do that in thread so that we can take further steps with others if needed.

Martina has a 1976 Americana Munchen card (difficult), a relatively common 1977-79 Sportscaster card, and a 1980-81 Svijet Sporta card (4 on ebay, not that hard).

McEnroe has a 1978 Edis card (rare), a 1977-79 Sportscaster, and a Svijet Sporta.
