DiMaggio Haul???
2 Attachment(s)
Hey Guys,
Just purchased a collection of mostly 52 to 54 Topps cards. But...all the way in the back of the binder was the attached letter (which was all folded) signed by Joe DiMaggio and what looks like a 1936 Goudey Wide Pens DiMaggio (which was sandwiched in between a couple of postcards that I didn't really pay any attention to). The letter doesn't look like a real signature to me, but I will leave that up to you guys who know a whole lot more than me (not a signature guy). As for the Wide Pens, I think it is legit. Blank back. Was surprised how thin the card is. What do you think? Is it legit? I will send to SGC if you guys think it has a shot of being legit. Appreciate all of your insight. Kindest regards, JT |
Lot of lumps in the signature on the letter… possibly a mimeograph or stamp?

The letter is a facsimile signature of Dimaggio's autograph. I'll see if I can find a similar one to show.

Different letter but should be the same facsimile signature.

almost for sure
The Dimag auto is a print but still a cool piece. The 1936 looks very good, Ive got a bunch and that corner wear in the lower left is exactly the way they behave. And yes, they are pretty darn thin..... crease easily. Rookie Dimag card.... not bad!!!
