Lathe Model Bats Question
 

Hello -

I am somewhat new to bats but have been seeing "Lathe Pro Model" bats offered with side writing for the player. Does anyone know if it was standard for a player to use the bats or at least confirm the dimensions/measurements of these "template" bats?

In general i'm curious on how they were tied to the player that was issued upon the production through Louisville Slugger.
