Back into the Hobby T211's
3 Attachment(s)
A recent consignment of what may be the finest T211 group ever put together, decades ago by hobby pioneer Don Steinbach...
Thought the board would like to see how an old-time high grade raw collection was curated and displayed. One of the many higher grade ones scanned as well. |
Pretty impressive. Is it the whole set? And let's see what a great condition Red Sun back looks like.

Missing a handful, over 60 cards total, about 40 from the Steinbach collection.

Wow, that back is bold!

Those are some beautiful cards. I have only had a couple as I like the red borders on the T210s better.
|
Gorgeous.

Fantastic cards, thanks for posting and congrats on the consignment. I love seeing old school curated collections.
|
You can't see from the pics, but they are all "tipped" in with old photo mounts. It took a while to gently extract each one. Next step is to SGC!
|
Nice bunch of southern leaguers.
Those Red Sun's require collecting and accumulating... a fellow can't just throw down a bunch of money and buy a set of 75 somewhere. |
Wow...I probably should have waited before buying the one I have as a type card!
|
Impressive group of T211 Red Sun cards!
Scott,
Very impressive group. Hope they are sold individually! Patrick |
They will be sold as singles.
|
Stunning! I've always wanted to own a Red Sun. I got close a couple of times a few years back. Then I shifted gears more toward post war cards, but I still think they are great.

T211 Red Sun cards
Scott,
Great news that they will be sold as singles! Guess it depends about how quickly they are graded, but do you plan on auctioning them all in one auction or spread out in several different auctions. Patrick |
