Waterproof Card Storage Box (about 20-30 cards)
I been looking into another Waterproof Storage Box.
I already have a Sentry fire safe for some stuff and documents, but running short on space. Looking at moving cards into a separate box. I saw some threads on ideas, such as a Pelican box or Apache. I also read on Blowout as well..that HarborFreight has a deal. But those look to big..more cards than i have....as i downsized to about 20-30 cards. Anyone have one for sale or any ideas...please shoot a PM I never had customeized one before, not sure how to do this foam insert thing, so asking if a dealer might have one done already Plus, been looking for those bubble sleeve protectors to protect the holder. |
Apaches come in different sizes one that would hold your collection runs about$50. Waterproof and airtight. They also have smaller ones of which you might need two…

I got the orange Apache. Posted on the March pick-ups thread... Already pulled the foam inserts apart--my 1st time, so it was ackward. The only thing i dislike- the foam space is a bit wide for a single card. I placed them side-ways. 2 rows Any thoughts??? as i didnt want to stick 2 cards together. Plus i took the top foam out so it would close. |

This is the case I have. I have a few more cards in mine than you and thus I don't have any space between cards as they sit pretty snuggly and don't jostle around (as dark as I can tell). Attachment 613456

After a second look I would take one more layer out of the foam inserts per card and put the lid foam back in.Attachment 613457

i am new to it--i was wondering about digging into the bottom foam.
I see yours is down deeper..so not 100% sure of doing that yet. As for the spacing--i am thinking about using those bubble-sleeves for the cards, to make it snuggle better. |
