1922 V61-2 Neilson's Chocolates Horace Ford Braves - Ends Sunday 1/28 @ 8pm CST
2 Attachment(s)
This week I have four lots of Prewar cards, including E95 Philadelphia Caramel Merkle, 1919 Zeenut, V61-2 Neilson's Chocolates, and a Diamond Stars card.
This lot consists of a 1922 Neilson's Chocolates card of Boston Braves horizontally oriented player Horace Ford. This card was made in Canada by real Canadian citizens for Canadian consumption. This example is in lower condition, with toning and extreme creasing, even more so than the 1919 Zeenut I have up for auction in this same category, while this card has the bonus of some paper loss on the back. But you have to admire the creasing ability of the creaser...this individual deftly avoided creasing the critical Horace facial region. Way to go, Canadian kid citizen! Minimum opening bid is $1 for this and my other 3 lots of Prewar cards, and the bidding increment should be in whole dollars. Bids with a time stamp of 8:00 pm CST on closing night or earlier are valid, anything after that is considered an unsuccessful bid. The shipping if you win one of my auctions this week will be $4.00, for two it will also be $4.00 total. Win 3 or 4 auctions and the shipping will be FREE. All cards will be shipped in a padded envelope. Personal check or Paypal accepted. Good Luck! Brian |

The auction of course runs its course for this Horace tonight at 8pm CST. Bid as if you want to end up in the winner's circle.

"The auction of course runs its course for this Horace tonight at 8pm CST." OUCH.
"Bid as if you want to end up in the winner's circle." I bid $8, because that's all I can a-Ford. |
For the Canadian kid, "Expert Creaser";
$12. |
