MATTY: An Evening with Christy Mathewson
 

Has anyone seen this before? It's coming to the Santa Monica Playhouse in late February. A one actor play about Christy Mathewson. It's close to me and tickets are only $20 (which is cheaper than the price of a movie in LA now) but I haven't heard about before even though it looks like it's been around for several years.

I saw it several years ago in Valencia CA, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

That's what I miss about living in California. Every modern cosmopolitan amenity; no matter what your interests are, it's either there or coming.

The Deadball Committee of SABR when we used to meet at Hot Springs every couple of years was treated to his performance as Matty. It was very moving,

Looks interesting. Wondering if they would ever come up to San Jose.

Saw the show in Santa Monica today. Was fantastic! Really great actor. Definitely recommend if the show ever comes near you.
