O/T Final Season Capstone Cards
One of my collection goals this year is to buy a '69 Mantle because I love how the back displays his entire career stats.
That got me thinking - why doesn't Topps typically issue a career capstone card when a star player retires showing their full career stats? They did for Mantle, and I remember them doing it in 1994 for Nolan Ryan. Also 1973 Clemente which was sadly and unexpectedly his last. Besides those, are there other card examples of HOF or star players having their entire career stats displayed on the back? |

Sorry Leon just saw the home page is reserved for Pre War discussion, and those mostly don't have stats.

There are sections for post war and newer cards. Just PM me or another Moderator if you ever need one moved. Let's leave this as a reminder. Thanks for your understanding. T205s were the first prewar cards to have stats, so some of those players might have all of their stats on back...if they only played one, to a few years, in that time frame... . |

Speaking of T205, there is this classic back.
