Cabinet photo dating
 

Hi, was curious on the date of this cabinet photo. The hat says Springfield I believe which would make sense given I found it in mass. Any info would be appreciated

Cool photo. Based on the equipment visible I would guess it dates to the mid 1890s. I base that on the style of catcher's mask and the bats with painted ends.
