Oddball Items in LOTG Auction
 

Love of the Game Auctions has several oddball items from my collection in their current auction. These include an 1864 book on Boys Sports and Games from George Wright's Boston baseball store; an 1887 Spalding Scorebook scoring several games between Maine teams; and an 1890 dance program from the Philadelphia area Brotherhood team, which presumably was named after the Brotherhood of Professional Baseball Players. In 1890, the Brotherhood, led by John Montgomery Ward, formed and ran the Players League.
