SOLD: 1908 Cy Young Day Game Program
7 Attachment(s)
On August 13, 1908, an exhibition game was played at Boston’s Huntington Grounds to honor Red Sox pitcher Cy Young. The other American League clubs sent players to play against the Red Sox that day, including Willie Keeler, Hal Chase, Jimmy Collins, and Jack Chesbro.
This program was provided/sold to a fan that day, who neatly scored the game on the centerfold pages. The Red Sox lineup was pre-printed, while the American League team was written in. This incredible relic survived the game, the journey home, and the 115 years since. Vertical crease on the back cover page and the ribbon is not completely intact, otherwise excellent condition. SOLD net to me, delivered, with PayPal preferred. Please PM me or email kris.sweckard@sbcglobal.net to purchase or ask any questions. Thanks! |

That's a neat item, for sure! Ironically, I own the only ticket stub to this game that I'm aware of in the hobby... |
Thanks guys!
