Interesting T206 Al Burch variation/oddity
4 Attachment(s)
I’m curious if anyone else has ever noticed a variation of the Al Burch batting t206 where it appears someone has taken a bite out of the bat. I noticed this a couple years ago and have seen 4 different examples since I started looking for them (all with P150 backs). All four that I have seen have an additional mark (dot) on the upper left corner.

That is a really cool recurring defect. Never noticed it.

I know you’ve seen this one but I figured I’d post it. Also sorry if this post gives you taco neck - I can’t figure out why net54 90 degree rotates my pictures

I have never noticed this before, but that is the perfect description as it literally looks like somebody took a bite out of the bat. :)

Image flipper to the rescue! I have to check my Burch for signs of bat munch.

Nice find Sonny! I have six of the Burch, batting cards and none of them have the bat misprint.

Attachment 596081 But seriously, folks ...... :) ........ Is it my old eyes, or do both shown examples also have the "N" in Brooklyn (as opposed to any other N :o), look a tad "incomplete?" Way cool, Scott  |
