Bat help from All American Girls Baseball League
 

Hi Gang:

I am not a bat collector thus I know nothing about this topic.

Wondering if this label and bat is a new or a period bat? Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks in advance for any info or photos to verify or to dissuade from it being legit.

Underneath the circle on the center brand, does it say "Trade Mark Reg", "Reg US Pat Off", or is it blank?

Talked with a friend who collects Daisies items and he feels the mini bat is period.

There is nothing under the center brand.

The bat is 16" long. Should there be anything under the brand on mini bats?

There doesn't have to be (minis just don't have room for all the branding that goes on a regular bat), but I would be absolutely certain the bat is period if there was. The lack of a trademark ® after Louisville Slugger, and the alignment of the "125" relative to the "&" does make me 99% sure it's period, and was just seeing if I could get to 100% before I offered an opinion.

OK guys. I have been holding out a "LITTLE" something about this bat until I was sure I could obtain it.

See photo below. Yep Jimmie Foxx's autograph on the other side of the barrel! He was Manager of the team in 1952

Disregard the blue and the yellow "A" Just my sad attempt at photo editing to hide some printing over top of the photo from where I acquired it.

This came from an Indiana estate sale.

Now I have to get the autograph authenticated and figure out what's it worth with Jimmie's autograph and/or consign to an auction house.

My “photo editing” skills would come out about the same. :p
